Wedding planning can be a fun, but sometimes stressful time, here at Tilly Eats Cake we try to take that pressure away, making choosing your cake a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We offer a free one-hour consultation to discuss your ideas and you get the chance to sample some cake favours with a warm cup of coffee!

Planning your wedding day is not an easy task. But we do our best to make the experience of choosing your dream cake as enjoyable as possible by offering professional advice and a friendly service.  

Each of our wedding cakes is unique & individually designed to reflect your personality and tie in with the style of your wedding day.

 We pay special attention to detail and every order is very important to us, but because we can only take limited amount of orders every week our diary is filling up fast.

    Tiered Iced Cakes

    Prices vary depending on your design, starting price for an iced 3 tier cake £350. So please give us a call and we can advise on prices and I can also work with budgets.  

    Profiterole Tower

    An alternative cake with a French twist, chocolate-dipped profiteroles decorated in many ways, gold leaf, edible sparkles or chopped nuts. Add a classic iced cake base to use as a cutting cake.
    Profiterole towers start at £350 for 150 filled profiteroles add a 10-inch iced cake for your base for £120

    Semi-Naked & Buttercream Cakes

    A very popular cake for a relaxed and rustic feel. The semi-naked cake has a smooth layer of buttercream with a glimpse of cake showing through for that rustic look, while a buttercream cake has a fuller buttercream that can be smoothed onto the cake or add a rustic combed look.
    Both these cakes can be adorned with fresh flowers or fresh seasonal fruit or both!

    After confirming availability for your chosen date we can then organise a consultation date, To help us design your cake, you are more than welcome to bring along any elements you would like incorporated into the design, such as colour swatches, your invitations, picture of your flowers or a sample of your dress material.

    What to expect at your consultation?

    we offer a free no-obligation cake consultation which is very relaxed at this point we take all your style details and draw a sketch to illustrate your cake, then the good bit! Cake samples! we provide you with 3 different flavours to try, these may not be the particular cake flavour you wish to have, but this is a chance to taste and enjoy some quality moist cake and discuss what flavours you would like for your cake.

    We will then discuss cake pricing and discuss any questions you may have.

    Prices & Portions

    Cakes 

    2tiers to serve up to 40 starts from £200

    3 tiers to serve up to 120 starts from £350
    4 tiers to serve up to 170 starts from £400

    3 tier buttercream or semi-naked cake to serve up to 100 from £300

    These prices are for a simple iced wedding cake decorated with a coordinating ribbon. Further decoration such as sugar flowers, gold/Silverleaf or ruffles is priced according to intricacy. 

    The portion guide is based on a single cake tier of approximately 6″ deep and finger portions of 1″x1″x6″.

    All our cakes are covered with a layer of chocolate ganache before covering with fondant in order for us to achieve a sharp, clean edge.

    Delivery and set-up are additional to the price of the cake.

     

    Cake Stands

    We have a selection of cake stands available to hire at an additional cost. A security deposit is required which will be refunded on return of the undamaged cake stand.

    Delivery service

    I do offer a delivery service for all wedding cakes, which is advisable. I liaise with your venue to arrange a suitable time to deliver taking the stress away from you.

    You are welcome to collect your cake but once it has left the cake kitchen it will be your responsibility.

    Moist, succulent fruit cake infused with cherry brandy covered with white marzipan

    Tilly Eats Cakes Flavours

    All cakes are produced using the best quality ingredients available, free-range eggs, professional fondant icing and Fairtrade ingredients where possible.

    I cover my cakes with a layer of chocolate ganache to achieve a smoother, flawless foundation for the fondant icing, achieving the sharp edge look.

    It’s extremely important for us to make sure our cakes, cupcakes and desserts not only look beautiful but also taste delicious. Therefore, we only use the freshest and finest ingredients, real butter, free range eggs, Madagascan vanilla beans and Belgium chocolate.

    We cannot guarantee that our products are free from any ingredient that may affect certain food allergies, but all efforts are made to minimize this risk where requested.

    The following ingredients are used in our kitchen:

    We do not offer egg-free cakes
